The Other In-Laws

My husband's brother and his wife are strange, to say the least. We have spent lots of time with them and their children, 90% of it at their house, because they can't or won't make the drive to Troutdale. Last year there was some bullshit with the bible thumpers, whom at the time I didn't know they were crazy, and my sister in law was extremely rude to them, so I called her out...via email.
I look back on that now and realize I shouldn't have stuck my nose in where it didn't belong, and also, I now feel she may have been justified, in light of recent events that have shown me who my inlaws really are.
Sooooo....
I decided to be the bigger person and apologize to my sister in law. She didn't forgive me, just agreed that I should have stayed out of it. Okay, fine. I extended the olive branch, she chose not to take it, at least I feel better.
Now she's chatting via email with my husband, and acting like we should all get past this and blah blah blah.
This is why I love my husband- He pointed out to her that I apologized. I think she assumed that he didn't know, which is weird, but whatever. She also asked if Staci was still living with us, which she goddamn well knows she isn't.
I don't get sneaky people. Uh, this post is lame and makes no sense but I needed to vent.
