I'm a bit better now...

Sadly, what it took for me to feel better was getting carded at the store for smokes! Yes, they must CARD if you look UNDER 30! Whoot!

Me: I guess I look under 30? (exhilarated)
Clerk: yeah (bored)
Me: Good, it's my 30th birthday! (chipper)
Clerk: Happy Birthday (bored)
Me: Yeah, I've been having kind of a tough day...(I trail off because realize I am pouring my heart out to the clerk at Plaid Pantry, and realize "at least I don't work at plaid pantry!")

Then I feel like a dumbass...oh well, fuck it.
