Shit Changes So Fast My Head Spins

Now apparently instead of Pebble Beach not being able to drink at all in the bar her husband owns, He may order her a drink and she may only have one.

Granted, she's a raging alcohic, but so is he, so what's the diff?? I cannot stand people that stay in a relationship simply because they thrive on drama. Hell, I love drama, just other peoples', I like my own life to be calm and drama-free.

Seriously, if you are with someone who:

beats the shit out of you (but it's only "once in a while" as if that matters, once is too much)
cheats on you ("but I have no proof" if you think it's happening, it most likely is) stays out all night doing blow, gambling, drinking, etc...

Drop the fuckin' idiot. Period.

You have to have some seriously lack of self respect to stay in a relationship like that. And what bugs me the most is people who actually leave the stupid fuck (or fuckette, as it were) then come back!! Like anything has or will change? Maybe for a minute, but it all goes back to the same old shit eventually.

I'm not high and mighty by any means, I was in a marriage that was shit, and yes, I probably stayed longer than I should have (or he did, depending on how you look at it) but I did finally leave, and lo and behold! Found a great guy that doesn't like drama, actually can carry on a civilized argument, not a full-on-knock-down-drag-out-throwing-shit-at-each other-calling-each-other-names-you-wouldn't-call-your-worst-enemy kind of guy.

That was a full on ramble, but you get the picture.

Alas, there are children from marriage number 1, so I still have to deal with the fuck on a regular basis, although thanks to his love affair with meth, not so regular anymore, just the occasional phone call now...phew.

I don't know how this turned into "all about me post" but it has. Funny how that happens!
