Classic Dad...

I was going through some old photos today looking for a picture of me as a kid doing some sort of sports (the powers that be at work think it would be "cute" if we had pics of all of us as kids, and it's a sports bar, so...) and I found this...

Dad, circa 1980ish, Thanksgiving.

Notice the cigarette with the long ashes hanging from his mouth precariously over the Thanksgiving Turkey?

This picture is one of my faves, I always teased him about it, so I had to share.

He passed away in May of 2000, and I still want to pick up the phone and call him sometimes, then I remember...

This one's for him.

I found a photo of my dad in the 70s wearing a tight pink T-Shirt and sporting a large handlebar moustache.
I plan to scan it into the PC and set it as his desktop when he's not looking.

awwww...I feel you on that one. It's amazing that after all this time I still want to pick up the phone and call my SIL who died 2 years ago. Time doesnt' heal all wounds.....it just softens them a bit.
