Dear Wes Craven...
Please, whatever possessed you to remake "The Hills Have Eyes"?? I'm sorry to inform you, Sir, that this is quite possibly the shittiest movie I have seen since "The Devil's Rejects", and that, my friend, is saying alot.
Seriously, I was horrified by how utterly stupid this movie is, so horrified, in fact, that we got up and left about 45 minutes into it. I wouldn't want to spoil this for anyone reading this letter besides yourself, Mr. Craven, but let's just say there was uncalled for breast feeding, m'kay? Ew. And it wasn't a mother and child. *shudders*
The theater was filled with 15 year olds, that screamed and laughed at every scary (so-called) or gross moment in the film. The one behind us actually started crying, probably tears of disappointment at this rediculous remake.
Please think long and hard before you remake another movie, sir. Whatever happened to Nightmare on Elm Street? Now that, was classic horror cinema...

Movie remakes for the most psrt usually suck. The 'lil teeny boppers in the theater will some day realize that but this was more than likely there 1st view of it.
Dang. I was looking forward to seeing that one. When it got on DVD. Next year. Thanks for the warning.
